MR Hostel

My main deal breaker was that nothing could be locked. People kept coming into the room all night even though they weren't staying there, and the baggage storage wasn't locked either. Anyone could walk in off the street and take your belongings. The beds were flimsy, the AC didn't work, and the bathrooms were filthy. They overcharge you, too. For the price, the rest was just about fine as a place to sleep, but the lack of security ruined it.

The roommates were rude and seemed to live there, and we couldn't sleep because of them. Staff were rude and didn't care. We left early because we'd had enough. I've never stayed in a worse hostel: everything was filthy and covered in mold, and the entire place smelled awful. We weren't given proper sheets, and the shower was almost unusable. Don't go here.

The staff were the rudest people I've met. When I asked questions and complained about the conditions, he said he “didn’t understand my accent,” though he understood me perfectly well otherwise. When I told him I was leaving because I didn't feel safe and asked for a refund, he refused, rolled his eyes, and kept playing on his phone while I tried to speak with him. The bedroom doors don't lock, the place was filthy, and there were no lockers for belongings. My “ensuite room” had its bathroom down the hallway. I left and didn't stay. DO NOT STAY HERE.

The staff showed little interest in helping, and the stay felt unpleasant and uncomfortable. The place was extremely dirty and badly maintained, with filthy bathrooms and cigarette smoke hanging around even in the rooms. The online photos gave a completely misleading picture. Hygiene clearly seemed to come last. This was easily the worst hostel option I found in Milan. I'd give it zero stars if I could.
