Hotel Ramada Plaza by Wyndham Milano

The staff and service were outstanding. We stayed one night before our flight from Milano, in an apartment in another building. It was in a very quiet area, about a 50-minute walk from the metro station.

Our apartment was nice and spacious, and the location worked well with an underground stop just a five-minute walk away. The hotel was nice, though it could be better. The food choices at the bar really weren't good.

The food was amazing. Breakfast had plenty of choice and was kept topped up, and I’d recommend the veal at the restaurant. We stayed in a huge executive room with the biggest bed ever, a large bathroom with thoughtful little extras, and a big balcony. Oddly, there was no furniture on the balcony. The hotel seemed geared more toward business travelers, but I'd stay again. It's a short walk to the underground, with a brilliant supermarket nearby. The staff were friendly, and when I was mugged on the train on our last day, the manager was fantastic and very helpful.

We found it easy to get around each day, with the Metro about a 10-minute walk away. The room was very spacious and clean, and had all the essentials, even a sewing kit. Breakfast came with our stay and offered a delicious variety every day. My family and I were there last week to celebrate my birthday, and the welcoming, helpful, professional staff made everything feel great from check-in to the end of our holiday. They even surprised me with a decorated cupcake and candle and sang happy birthday. The hotel was reasonably priced, and I'd recommend it to friends, family, or anyone visiting Milan's famous attractions.
