The bed was clean and the bathroom was nice and good enough. The room itself was okay, though the door lock was hard to use, so I told the owner it could use some lubricant. I never met the owner, but that was fine. They sent instructions by PDF since there would be no staff, after contacting me on WhatsApp to get some information and finish the booking. The directions were clear. The key was in a box outside the building, which felt a bit strange, but it worked. This was the last B&B available at short notice, so I took a chance on it. The advertised Trivago parking is only available for an extra charge, which was disappointing, though street parking is usually free. The owner also sent some parking information. The B&B is near San Siro stadium and tram and bus lines. There are restaurants and a little night shop a few hundred meters toward the stadium. It was a good experience overall, although the bathroom could use maintenance. I could hear drops when the toilet was used, and I struggled to close the shower doors.

It was clean, the coffee was free and very nice, and the location worked well for public transport. But what we paid felt expensive for what we got. My biggest issue was that the windows had no mosquito screens.

A girl and I spent four days in Milan, sleeping in a different hotel each night. This one turned out to be the cheapest and best equipped, and it had a homely feel. There was a jacuzzi on the terrace! 10/10.

The manager cancelled our reservation overnight without warning, apparently because he could get a better deal. He claimed the credit card didn’t work, which is a lie, and cancelled without telling us. We tried to reach him many times through every available means, but he gave no answer for two weeks. When we arrived, an employee greeted us but couldn’t even speak English. The manager was nowhere to be seen, refused his own employee’s phone calls, and never showed up. He’s dishonest and left us stranded. Book this B&B if you want to ruin your vacation!
