The cheap rate didn’t make up for how bad this stay was. There are only two toilets for all the guests, so the wait can be long, and I had to make my own bed. My curtain wouldn’t close properly either, which let the morning sun wake me early. The doors are locked at 12:30 a.m., so you can’t enjoy the city’s nightlife. The staff were extremely rude. I accidentally spilled a little sauce while making instant noodles, and a staff member yelled at me, scolded me, and even hit the walls as if I’d done something terrible. He then said, “Next time I won’t talk to you like this,” and turned into a complete monster. It was horrible. I really didn’t like this hostel at all. It was the worst place I’ve ever stayed, and I strongly advise against booking there.

The atmosphere was great, and everything else felt just right. The hotel was very clean, and the service was excellent. Special thanks to Mohammed for being so kind and professional. Highly recommended!

The place felt unsafe and unclean. I stayed for three nights and was safe during that time, but I came down with a slight illness. It may have been a coincidence, though the state of the bathrooms makes me wonder.

The bathrooms are very old and need renovating, and the rooms get extremely hot. There’s a fan, but without air conditioning it wasn’t enough. I also felt uncomfortable in the area and didn’t think the location felt safe. It seemed strange to have to hand in my key every time I went out when I had a private room with my belongings inside. You have to be back before 12:30 AM, or you can’t get in. After that, you ring the bell and wait for someone to open the main door. There was only one staff member handling everything, so it could take a while. He did his best, but it was clearly too much for one person. I won’t return. I’d rather stay somewhere more comfortable and better equipped, preferably closer to the city center.
