Breakfast was a real highlight, and we had a great experience at the hotel. A few things could be better, though: the shower area is tiny, the hair dryer didn’t work properly for us, and the air conditioner kept switching off.

We really enjoyed our three-night stay. We were upgraded to a more luxurious room and were very happy with it. Breakfast was very good and there was plenty of it. I’d recommend staying here!

Breakfast was good, as you’d expect at a four-star hotel, and the room was okay, if a little dated. But our experience with the staff was poor. At check-in on 28 December, a middle-aged staff member was taking a long time. When I asked if he could speed things up, he shouted, “Now I have to hurry up,” without explaining anything. It felt extremely rude and unprofessional. On our second night, the bed cover was dirty, so we asked for a replacement. Another staff member said it was fine because it hadn’t touched skin, and that they’d change it later. That seemed ridiculous. Only after we insisted did he take photos and replace it. It was a simple request, but the first response was to do nothing. We stayed at Starhotels Tourist from 28 to 30 December 2025, and it didn’t feel like a four-star experience. The staff seemed unqualified. Having read other reviews, I can see many guests have also complained about the staff, so this may not be an isolated case.

The air conditioning has been switched off centrally, and our room is like a sauna, at least 28 degrees. In a four-star hotel, I should be able to choose the temperature I want. We’re staying here now.
