The room was pleasant and nicely decorated, facing the sea, with free parking both in the building and in front. The air conditioning worked very well, maybe too well. It’s a welcoming place, but a lot of little problems added up. There weren’t any hooks for towels, which seems odd by the seaside. The door was hard to shut because its hook was rusty, a lamp was broken, and the wall behind the bed was badly damaged and almost coming off. In the kitchen, the food provided was past its date or spoiled, with mold and moths inside. For €230 for three nights, I felt the price didn’t match what we got, given all those issues. It’s a shame, because the place could be much better and could make for a really nice stay.

The location makes it easy to get to the city center, port, Aeolian Islands, and lovely Ponente beach. Milazzo’s seafront is charming and lively, a great place for couples. We returned to B&B Le Tre Stelle this year after such a lovely stay last August. The owner runs it very well, it’s clean, and breakfast is delicious and plentiful. I don’t think you’ll regret staying here!

Everything you need is nearby, from a supermarket to a tobacconist, and the location is the best part: right on the beach and just steps from the town center. The rooms are lovely and spotless, with cleaning and fresh towels every day. Breakfast at the lido bar is excellent, and the setting is lovely too. I’d gladly return; the owner is a wonderful person.

We spent a week in the “Mira” room. The B&B itself is okay, but for the price I expected more. The toilet seat was broken, there was no Wi-Fi, and the old yellow shower curtain had a tear at the top. The toilet brush was worn out, and the double-bed sheets were for single mattresses, so they kept falling to the floor whenever we sat down, morning or evening. The TV was stuck on “no signal,” and cleanliness was hit and miss. I’m giving two stars for the breakfast at the “La Fenice” beach bar, where the owner was very kind and the food delicious, and for the room’s air conditioning.

The owner was helpful, and the B&B is renovated, fairly clean, and has all new rooms. Wi-Fi is free but mediocre. There’s also free parking. My bathroom was too small, had no bidet, and the air conditioning made some noise. Given those issues, I wouldn’t recommend the Gemma room.
