We had a fabulous stay at Ngonia Bay with our big family. The staff were friendly and professional the whole time. We’ll definitely come back.

We held a wedding at Ngonia Bay this week for the second time, and the day once again went beyond what we expected. The team made it feel special from start to finish. Director Luca was attentive and hands-on, and the whole staff were kind, professional, and truly involved. They all speak excellent English, which is a real help for our international events. Tono Beach is one of the area's most beautiful beaches, and the venue feels like a calm oasis in lively Milazzo. For the civil ceremony, the lush inner garden was just right for an intimate gathering. Afterwards, the couple and guests had a relaxed aperitif on the panoramic terrace, looking out over the sea, Milazzo Castle, and Mount Etna in the distance. Dinner was a lovely celebration of Sicilian food, refined and elegant while still full of authentic flavor. A heartfelt thank you to everyone at Ngonia Bay for helping us create such an unforgettable wedding day. We can’t wait to return. Thank you so much, Grazie mille!

Great rooms and views, with great service too. Top class, no complaints.

The location was good and the service was good too, but the price was way too high. We stayed one night and ate at the restaurant. Dinner tasted good, though the portions were very small. Our room was poorly decorated, and the bed wasn’t comfortable. If you’re thinking of staying here, do yourself a favor and book somewhere else.

The biggest problem was the event on our first night. During the week of our arrival, the hotel messaged that there would be an “event (dinner+music),” which we took to mean something like a band playing at dinner. Instead it was a full EDM disco until 2 a.m., loud enough that we could feel the bass through the bed. The hotel manager was quite rude the next morning and kept insisting we’d been informed, but we hadn’t. The messages had been deliberately vague. We couldn’t use the facilities on two of our three booked nights, including the other night when they’d told us in advance there would be a wedding. We had no issue with that wedding notice. In the end, we agreed to a 50% refund and an early check-out, then left for a much nicer family-run place that actually cared about its guests’ experience. We’d booked Ngonia Hotel for our honeymoon. On arrival, we found that parking was public only, and because the hotel is by the beach it was full of locals there to enjoy it. There was no special welcome at all, unlike much cheaper places that had given us prosecco or left a nice congratulations message in the room. The “upgraded” room wasn’t what we expected: it was basically a room with a bathtub instead of a shower, and a dirty window looking onto a construction site. When we asked if it could be cleaned, the nice lady at reception kept repeating that they couldn’t clean it every day, as if I were a child who couldn’t understand. Ngonia Hotel should decide whether it wants to be a hotel or a party venue.
