Casa Amorino

Simeone and his family were wonderful. Our room was spotless, beautifully decorated, and well located. The garden is gorgeous, full of lemon trees, and the property is gated. It feels like a little piece of heaven tucked away in Minori. When the bus schedule was far off and we needed to catch our ferry, Simeone helped us find a taxi driver. He’s easy to get in touch with, and his English is excellent. Book it, you’ll be glad you did!

Minori is a quaint village and a great place to stay on the Amalfi Coast. Of all the places we’ve tried around Italy, this was easily our favorite. We loved our time here, and the hosts were lovely. I can’t recommend it enough. You won’t regret it!

Minori was just right for us. We visited Pompeii, Salerno, and Amalfi, and walked the lovely lemon path to Maori twice, but we’d love to come back to Minori. The accommodation, breakfasts, and delightful garden with its bar were all first rate. We also really enjoyed the cooking course. Casa Amorino gave us a very happy week in a beautifully located bed and breakfast. Calling it that feels a bit misleading, really, because we were welcomed into a family home and treated like part of the family. Everyone was consistently warm, happy to chat, and ready to help with trips and transport. Special thanks to Carmen, who patiently answered all our questions about ferries, buses, and trains, and pointed us toward some excellent restaurants. She seems to know everyone in Minori! We could walk to the ferry, cafes, and restaurants, and hike the Path of the Lemons without needing any motorized transport. Casa Amorino sits in a walled lemon garden in beautiful Minori, a wonderful location for this special B&B. Simone, Carmen, their lovely parents, and aunt made us feel welcome in every interaction. You can tell how much this family cares about their guests. Breakfast was delicious and cooked to order each morning, and we loved ending the day with aperitivo at the Garden Bar. I can’t wait to come back!
