Palazzo Vingius

We loved our four nights at Palazzo Vingius. The common area has a beautiful view, and we used it every evening for a nightcap or to meet family before heading out. The rooms were lovely, the air conditioning was cold, and the cleaning team did a great job on the days we opted for service. The staff were so kind and helpful, and breakfast was delicious. Our sweet attendant made me the world's best decaf americano and cappuccinos every morning. There are quite a few stairs to reach the top, but you can burn off some pasta and gelato on the way.

All the rooms have a view. Ours didn't have a balcony, but we could still see Minori Port, and it was amazing. It's a 15-room place with a good location for Minori, which is quieter than the other towns. Be aware that there are stairs to climb. They contacted me before our travel date to explain that. We were traveling by bus and luckily got onto a crowded one from Salerno. You need to ask the driver to stop at Marmorata 85, since it's not a popular bus stop. I forgot to ask and the bus passed it, but with our luggage we had no choice but to do so.

The view across the sea and town is fantastic, particularly from the breakfast area. Breakfast itself is simple but good, and the staff are very friendly and welcoming. The accommodation is centrally located in Minori, though you do have to climb a few steps to get there.

Getting up to the hotel means a steep climb on the stairs, and it was really tricky with all our luggage. There's no other way up, though once inside the lift makes getting around fine. Our room was just what we expected, with a nice balcony facing the waterfront. Reception always had friendly faces to greet us, breakfast with coffee each morning was decent, and the room was cleaned. Luckily, the Aircon worked well. Thanks for the stay.
