Do Ciacole in Relais

The staff were some of the most helpful I've come across while traveling. The hotel has a charming, rustic feel, and it's a good fit if you're after a quiet stay. Cat lovers will also be glad to meet Pepe and Mal, who count as staff too 😉 If you're visiting from abroad without your own transport, I'd suggest renting a car. The train stations are only a couple of miles away, but getting there on foot isn't really practical because the country roads are narrow and have no sidewalks. Taxis and Uber cost too much. Venice is a 20-minute train ride from the Mira-Mirano station, where there's parking. The restaurant is fantastic as well. A lovely place to stay if you want peace, simplicity and really helpful staff.

We came to see friends in Mirano and spent three nights at Do Ciacole in Relais at the end of September. It was a good standard three-star hotel and felt like good value. Clarissa was welcoming and shared helpful tips for our day trip to Venice. Our room was large and clean, the bed was comfortable, and we both slept well. The shower room was a little dated but clean. The continental breakfast suited us. We ate at the restaurant once; it was busy and service took a while, but the food was tasty and the place seems popular with locals. It's at the end of a long, dusty country road, so a car is a good idea. We'd stay again.

Chlarissa made our stay so special. She was informative and helped us throughout, from finding transport to sharing recommendations for Venice. The comfortable room and delicious food were part of a breathtaking experience, but her positive, bright presence took it to another level.
