Hotel La Rescossa

The owner was so helpful, and we were given detailed local information as soon as we arrived, including maps, bus times, places to visit, restaurant suggestions, and tips for Venice. The hotel was very clean, with a comfortable bed and a great shower. They were very focused on looking after guests, spoke excellent English, and even put breakfast out for us two hours before the usual time on the morning we left. We'd be very happy to return.

The owner was kind and helped with every question I had. The rooms were cute, clean, and had an Italian style. It's easy to get to Venice because the bus stops very close by. I'd definitely recommend it!

The host paid close attention to what we needed, and breakfast had a good range of choices by European standards. The hotel felt spotless, with a peaceful room decor and a huge bed that was so comfortable. It keeps its old-world character while feeling updated, and the gated parking and entry codes after 9pm made it feel secure. We stayed two nights on the way to Hungary and spent a day in Venice. The bus takes about 25 minutes, and you can buy tickets at the front desk. Just check you're waiting on the correct side of the road. We got on the wrong side and ended up at the far end of the line, then had to go back the other way and lost an hour. We'd recommend staying here and would return if we're in the area again.

The service was outstanding, and the grounds were kept up really nicely. It's a short walk to the bus stop for Venice, and there's also a wonderful, inexpensive pizza place nearby. My wife and I stayed three nights and really enjoyed it. Our room was small but clean, with a nicely updated bathroom. Breakfast is served in a shared area each morning, with coffee, juice, and mostly pastries. I'd stay here again.
