We rested well and felt welcome during our stop in Mirabella. We booked a spacious room at very short notice, and the owner was kind and helpful, offering pilgrims a special rate of 20 euros each. It’s close to where we needed to set off the next day. Thanks to the owner for her courtesy and help. We recommend it.

At 2 a.m., we called the owner, who was at the party, and she said we could move to another house or get a refund if we left. The party was expected to go on until dawn, even though she knew the rooms were occupied by people over 80. The loud house music was so intense that lamps and windows were shaking. We’d arrived to cold rooms, and the owner said we’d have to manage because she couldn’t work out the air conditioning. After a rushed welcome, she told us there would be a New Year’s Eve party. It turned into a nightmare. No seriousness or professionalism, and we’ll never come back.

The owners and staff were welcoming and helpful, and the barbecue had excellent local meat. There’s a crystal-clear pool with a hydromassage tub, completely free to use, all surrounded by greenery. A great spot for total relaxation. We’ll be back.

After a lot of back and forth, we finally got an apartment, but by then it was already 9:30 PM. We were told the newlyweds were waiting in the living room, and my boyfriend, who was the best man, had to run over. I’ll leave what we found in the house aside; the main issue was how we were treated. We’d spoken directly with the lady some time earlier to book two rooms for a wedding on September 26th, one for me and one for my friends, who were also a family. She said there were no rooms left on the property, but offered an apartment a few steps away with two separate double bedrooms, and sent photos. That’s why I booked. When we arrived, though, we were put in one room with nine beds, one double and the rest bunk beds, with no dividing door. I told her I was disappointed, and she asked me to “stay for one night.” Absurd. She was rude, disorganized and impolite, and even insulted the bride who had recommended the place. Weeks later, I still feel compelled to write this, though I hadn’t wanted to leave a review. I absolutely don’t recommend it. Let clients speak freely instead of pushing them to leave positive reviews that may not be true.
