Hotel Ivana

The food was flavorless and seemed precooked, with little variety. It was poorly presented, and table service was slow and inattentive. We had also chosen Hotel Ivana in Misano because free parking was promised, but every space was taken when we arrived and nobody offered another option or any help. Even the welcome was poor: reception felt disorganized and unprofessional, and the staff were rude and seemed irritated by our questions. Our stay was very disappointing, and I wouldn't recommend this hotel, especially if you expect basic comfort and a warm welcome. There are many other hotels in Misano that are more deserving.

Our room was meant to be ready by noon, but they chose to do a last-minute check on the previous guests, apparently to make extra money. We're more than one couple, and still have no idea when we'll get a room. The place has no sense of politeness, punctuality, or respect. A horrible experience at The Riviera. Avoid it. SHAME ON THE RIVIERA.

I want to thank Daniele, Roberta, and Lucia for being kind when I reported this behavior. The front desk woman, who is there only in the morning and whose initial is G., was extremely rude, arrogant, and awful in her manners. She was smiling and friendly only with a group staying at the hotel, including her sister or twin, who she was chatting with comfortably at breakfast. I strongly suggest she find another job, because dealing with the public doesn't seem to be her strong point. Her conduct reflects badly on all the hotel's facilities in the group.

We paid for a room and showed up at 10:00 AM, even though check-in was at 2:00 PM. After leaving our bags, we went to the beach for the four hours. When we came back at 2:00 PM, I got the key and found the room in a mess, TV on, and not cleaned at all. We had to wait until 3:30 PM. The arrangements were a mess from the start: there was nobody at reception at night, and we were told to go to another hotel to do the paperwork. Breakfast was where we were staying, but lunch and dinner were somewhere else. You eat here, sleep there, and pay there. They never change the sheets. I had to empty the outside ashtray myself, and throw away the bottles too. I've traveled for 29 years and never had so many complications. Thanks a lot, but I wouldn't recommend this hotel anywhere.
