I enjoyed my stay here. The hotel is very good, the rooms are clean and cozy, and there's free breakfast in the morning. Even though I don't speak Italian, the service was great. 👍👍👍

My first stay wasn't entirely positive, though there were good points. The room was clean and tidy when we arrived, and both properties are right in the center. Misterbianco is a convenient base for visiting beautiful parts of eastern Sicily, all within an hour's drive. The price was reasonable, even in the most expensive week of the year. I have friends nearby and will give the B&B another chance. I may just have been unlucky with the lack of clarity when booking, and if I have a better experience, I'll update this review. The main issue was that I didn't realize the property had two units, an actual B&B, at least I think so, and a vacation home with the same name. I was placed in the vacation home, which isn't shown in the website photos or mentioned there. Breakfast was supposed to be served at the bar across from the property, but it was closed. They said the regular rate had been discounted, but when I booked by phone, no one told me the bar and staff would be unavailable. An email with the booking details might have cleared things up. Room cleaning only happens when the staff aren't on vacation. The cleaning staff were away for 3 days, and the breakfast bar was closed for 10 days during the week of August 15th, the busiest week. I didn't see or hear anyone all week and had to call whenever there was a problem. On arrival, after a 9-hour drive, I found the B&B closed. I called the owner, waited about 15 minutes in Sicily's typical 40°C heat, then he came and took us to the other property. If the booking details had been clearer, I probably would have stayed anyway and left a more positive review.

The hosts were kind and helpful, which made our stay even better. The room was spacious and clean, with a lovely smell, and the bed was incredibly comfortable. Breakfast at the bar was delicious too. We had a great experience!
