We liked the location so much that we’d stay here again. The hotel feels dated, but the staff were friendly and we were upgraded when we arrived. There was a separate sofa bed area with its own air conditioning, plus another unit by the bed, and both worked well. The bathroom was cramped, with everything packed around the tub, though the water pressure and temperature were good.

The rooms were spacious, clean, and nicely designed. The gym was good too, apart from the treadmill being out of order. Food choices were limited, but what was available was good.

Breakfast was a highlight, with some Italian specialties, and all the tourist spots are within walking distance. The staff were really friendly and helpful, and the room was decent. It’s very central, though the windows, which do open, face a building only a few feet away, so we mostly kept them shut and got no natural light. Still a very good stay.

The room was spacious and had lots of mirrors, plus a bidet. Sound insulation was poor, but the service was good.

We chose it for the central location, and having a reserved spot in the restricted downtown area was great. The small garage fits about eight cars, none of them very large. You need to book parking ahead, and they send driving directions to the hotel with the reservation. The place feels old-fashioned, especially the bathroom, and voices and hairdryers from neighboring rooms carry through. Staff were friendly and helpful, and breakfast is available for €5. It’s a three-star hotel, so I’m giving it three points.
