The road noise was unbearable. I stayed three nights and couldn't sleep at all, then felt exhausted every morning. My room was too hot at night because the air conditioner didn't work. There wasn't water, coffee, or a hot water kettle in the room. I've never stayed in a hotel that didn't provide coffee. Honestly, I'd have slept better in a tent in the park.

Salvatore made my stay in Modena the best, always welcoming me with a smile and good vibes. Hotel Donatello felt like a home away from home. Thanks for everything, mate. Miss you, Amanda Worthington from Melbourne, Australia.

The staff were very friendly and accommodating. They stored our luggage and gave us great recommendations for exploring Modena. Hotel Donatello was a fantastic stay, with a lobby and room that felt newly renovated, modern, and beautiful. We'd definitely come back.

We loved our spacious superior room. It was clean, bright, and beautifully designed. The place felt new and modern, the staff were lovely and helpful, and parking was free. The downtown was a 20-minute walk, which worked great for us. Thank you 😊.

The breakfast was really poor, just the basics. At 7:30 in the morning, the waitress was banging the plates and cutlery around, making a terrible noise. I had a terrible stay. I went to shower and found one large towel and one small one, which my husband used. There was another small towel by the bidet, so I used it to dry my face. I was shocked to see lots of yellow and brown stains on it. That's all I have to say. Horrible place and service.
