RMH Modena Raffaello

The shower pressure was a little weak, my one small complaint. Otherwise, this was outstanding value, with a practical modern feel and very good management. Check-in was quick, and the huge free car park had plenty of spaces. The gym has decent modern equipment, breakfast offers lots of regional choices, and the bistro serves good local food. I didn’t eat in the main restaurant, but it looked beautiful and was highly rated. The bar made one of the best Negronis I’ve had. The room was spacious, clean, and quiet thanks to good sound insulation. Lighting had several settings, Wi-Fi was fast, and there were well-placed outlets including USB and USB-C. The digital AC was efficient, and the large safe fit a laptop easily. The bed was comfortable, with a pillow menu. There was a roomy wardrobe, a glass shower stall, hairdryer, slippers, minibar with two free waters, and a kettle with coffee and tea. The allergy-friendly vinyl floor was another nice detail.

The rooms felt new, modern, and were perfectly clean. Breakfast had a generous mix of sweet and savory choices. Staff were always friendly and ready to help with a smile. I’d gladly return and recommend the hotel.

The hotel is nice, with big rooms and plenty of parking. The shower, though, seemed designed by someone who’s never used one. It’s too small and oddly shaped, the head barely adjusts, and the drain couldn’t keep up. In ten minutes the water had flooded the whole room, not just the bathroom. Not good.

The room was huge and had everything I needed, from coffee and bottled water to vanity kits, slippers, and dressing gowns. It was spotless, and the stay was otherwise perfect. The location is quite far out, though, and my Uber cost around €20-30, so keep that in mind. Highly recommended.
