We paid €800 for 8 days, a dramatic price increase for almost no comfort, not even Wi-Fi. On the ground floor, the bathroom sink was clogged, the shower temperature was nearly impossible to adjust, and the guest WC toilet cistern had been broken for years. The kitchen had sparse dishes and cutlery, only three of the four stove burners worked, and getting the gas oven to light was an adventure. There was no coffee maker or kettle, and no bottle opener or corkscrew, although we had bought those in earlier years and left them there. There was also no air conditioning, mosquito net, awning, or parasol during our vacation at the end of August. Earlier, on a March vacation in the first-floor apartment, there was no heating and it was 12 degrees Celsius inside. The furnishings were extremely basic.
