Walter made this feel like more than just a place to stay. I came with my parents to show them Sicily, and they couldn't have been happier. He went out of his way to share information and help us enjoy the trip. The apartments are well equipped and work well for couples, families, or groups traveling together. Bikes are available if you want to cycle, and beaches are a short walk or drive away. It's also a great base for visiting nearby towns, including Pozzallo, Ragusa, Scicli, Modica, and more. The welcome from the people running the flats is so warm and kind. We’ve been coming back every year for five years, and that probably says it all. The place is clean and well cared for, less than a minute from the sea, and Marina di Modica has lovely beaches. It works just as well for a short break as a longer, relaxing holiday.

The outdoor terrace was perfect for dinner or an evening aperitif, and the air conditioning worked great. We found beaches to suit all tastes, from a 5- to 30-minute drive away, plus rocks just a two-minute walk away if that’s what you like. The accommodation is a lovely typical beach house in a great spot, with very reasonable prices. The service was really helpful with advice and all sorts of little and bigger things, including arranging the beach umbrella we hadn’t thought to bring when flying in from Florence. My first trip to Sicily with them was wonderful.

Walter made for some lovely conversations and gave us useful advice, and Giorgio even let us see his beautiful garden. Everyone who owns the place was courteous and attentive to anything guests needed. We had a wonderful first two weeks of July here. Our apartment stayed cool and comfortable, with a first-floor terrace for lunch, and sat among a beautifully maintained Mediterranean garden. The sea is nearby and easy to reach on foot or by bike. Highly recommended!
