We spent a week here and came away feeling refreshed. The place had such a peaceful feel, with jasmine and other flowers greeting us on arrival, well kept gardens, and a lovely pool overlooking Modica and the Duomo of San Giorgio. That view has to be one of the best in the city. The owners are an architect couple from Milan, and their care shows in the beautifully restored houses. They keep the old Sicilian character while adding modern comforts, with indoor and outdoor spaces flowing together and each house having its own terrace or garden. The historic setting and thoughtful design made for a really special stay. Breakfast was delicious each morning, with local sweet and savory choices. The hosts were gentle and welcoming, and their attention to detail helped make the week feel like a proper slow, restful break. We'd love to come back. A peaceful Sicilian escape with a modern touch.

Marco, the owner, and Vittorio, the manager, were both brilliant hosts, and breakfast was fantastic. We loved the garden and pool, with beautiful views over Modica. It was a lovely stay, and we'll return!

The views from Casa Talia are incredible, and the hillside setting is peaceful and charming. The rooms are beautifully designed, and it's just a short walk to Modica's historic center. We'd stayed at some of the best known hotels in sicily, paying 2-3 times as much, but our experience at casa Talía was second to none. Special thanks to Vittorio for his warmth and local knowledge. His hospitality made the stay unforgettable and went beyond what we expected. Grazie mille!

I really loved our stay. The place is gorgeous, and having breakfast on the terrace was lovely. They send directions by WhatsApp before you arrive, so if you're driving, make sure you know where you're headed. I'd definitely recommend having a car so you can see the nearby towns and cities.

We absolutely fell for Modica, and the beautiful views at Casa Talia made our stay feel even more magical. Marco went out of his way to meet our needs. Signora Angela's homemade fresh cakes were a treat, and her daughter Chiara was just as kind and welcoming. Everyone was friendly and flexible. The property is stunning, though be ready for some stairs. With so much great food and so many fantastic restaurants around, the extra walking made indulging feel guilt-free! A presto A. & A. Rucco
