The owner was so friendly and ready to answer questions, help with concerns, or offer suggestions. That made it hard not to enjoy our stay. The house is comfortable and has everything you need, with the feeling of stepping back into Sicily a few decades ago. Set just behind the Cathedral of San Giorgio, it’s an easy walk out to Modica’s scenery and timeless streets, as well as Salvatore Quasimodo's house, the Cathedral of San Giorgio, and the beautiful Rupestrian Church of San Niccolò Inferiore. I can’t see how this place could deserve less than five stars.

We had a wonderful time here. The welcoming house has a strong sense of local tradition, and anyone familiar with Sicilian life may feel right at home. The owner was very kind and always available if we had a problem or needed advice.
