Kikki Village

Really top-notch.

My son has just come back from a three-night school trip at this property. It looked quiet and welcoming, but his experience was terrible. The water was cold, so showering was impossible, and there was no showerhead. Worms and other insects were in the rooms. Some rooms connected, and the connecting doors were left open. Even so, the managers demanded payment for an entire door after only one handle on one of the doors was damaged. The food was poor and had been bought at a discount store. The trip included full board, but the children were given inedible sandwiches for lunch and food like a hospital canteen meal for dinner. What more is there to say? Dear Kikky Village, you’d be better off shutting down, including those actual doors, not the cardboard ones you expect us to pay €1,200 each for!!!

There are no stairs or steps anywhere in Kiki Village, which makes it well suited to people with limited mobility. The place is carefully designed and set among olive and carob trees, with a simple, peaceful feel and plenty of direct contact with nature. The large pool is well maintained and a lovely place to relax on hot days, surrounded by greenery. The restaurant serves tasty dishes that are nicely presented, with a focus on local produce and good ingredients. Rooms are spacious and clean, furnished simply but welcomingly, with comfort rather than excess. A lovely choice if you’re looking for quiet, good food, and an inclusive stay surrounded by nature.

The staff are friendly and very helpful, and I’m giving this place five stars for the attention they give to guests with mobility issues. It’s a barrier-free facility, designed to make a holiday as enjoyable as possible for people who are less fortunate. It’s quiet, the pool is beautiful, and the food is simple, authentic, and well prepared.
