We stayed at the end of May 2023, and the earlier reviews were at least three years old. The house was unsanitary and dangerous: exposed electrical wires hung in the bathroom and kitchen. The bathroom and garden photos were out of date, including the ones showing children's play equipment. The washing machine was outside, very dirty, and had got wet. Downstairs, the bedroom beds were rotten, with broken slats and no blankets. The TV didn't work, and neither did the air conditioning in that bedroom. The outdoor furniture was rotten and unusable. The house was meant for four people, but had only three teaspoons, no kitchen knife, no kettle, and not even three jars for breakfast. I strongly advise against staying here.

We spent August 4 to August 14, 2019, in this vacation home for two and were very pleased with our stay. Its position high in the Sicilian countryside gives it wide views, and it’s a good base for seeing the lovely cities and places of southeastern Sicily. There’s plenty on the property too: private parking, a garden and barbecue area, a roomy porch with a table, and a wood-fired pizza oven. Highly recommended!

The all-stone house is fairly well furnished, and the location is “perfect.” It’s a shame that so much feels run-down and the cleanliness really needs work.

The rooms were neat and clean, and the service was excellent. It was a lovely experience.
