Nacalino Agriturismo

The outdoor space made this a great place for families, with plenty of well-kept room to play, plus a swing and play set. The pool was clean, with lots of loungers and shady spots for reading. Inside, our accommodation was spacious, clean and well-equipped, and we loved the character of the old stone buildings. Sharing delicious home-cooked Sicilian food in the courtyard was a highlight. Tina and Filippo were such kind, delightful hosts, and we had a wonderful time at Nacalino. We spent beach days at Marina di Modica, which was lively and especially fun on weekends. We also had a day in Modica doing the usual tourist things, and there were plenty of other beaches we didn’t get to. We really enjoyed our stay at Nacolino and hope to come back.

The refreshing pool and loggia were a lovely place to come back to after mornings spent sightseeing in the pretty local Baroque towns. We also visited the nearby beach at Sampieri, one of Sicily’s top beaches. Breakfasts were generous, and the Sicilian home cooking at dinner was delicious, definitely worth trying. Our accommodation matched its description exactly, was spotlessly clean and very comfortable. The farmhouse conversion into a small hotel has been done immaculately, with charming touches throughout. Tina and Filippo made our stay very enjoyable, and we’ll keep fond memories of this beautiful setting. If nearby traffic is a concern, the highway runs through a canyon, so it doesn’t cause much disturbance.

Breakfast was delicious every morning, and the recommendations for nearby restaurants and activities were really good. Everyone we met was so kind. The rooms, pool and grounds were all clean and very well kept. A perfect countryside stay, highly recommend!

I spent a few days here while working remotely, and it was a lovely chance to have some quiet time with friends. The owners are such kind, caring people. They run the place and make breakfast each morning using their own products, which gives it a wholesome feel. There’s a big green garden, a small playground for families, and a beach just 10 minutes away by car. A perfect little oasis for relaxing.
