The rooms were clean and the staff were friendly, and breakfast was generous. It’s a good value for the money. Only thing I’d change is turning the heat up a couple of degrees.

The rooms weren’t very clean, and the owners were really unpleasant to deal with. We’d been staying here for years because of the handy location, and this time we even recommended it to friends. We won’t be back, and definitely can’t recommend it.

The location between the lake and the main road was handy for going on excursions, and breakfast was excellent, as were the sandwiches we paid extra for. It was one of the few places available, which is why I stayed the one night. Still, €100 for a room, plus extra for a few more hours, was crazy. It felt more like a B&B than a hotel. The rooms were small, with balconies in only two of them, but they were simple and clean. The spring mattresses were extremely uncomfortable, and the wool pillows and blankets, along with the embroidered cotton sheets, looked like things I hadn’t seen in years. There was no air conditioning or minibar, the TV was just 19 inches and almost impossible to watch without binoculars, and the elevator was switched off. The red curtains had comic book characters like Tiger Man, or even older ones, and the breakfast room and bar looked stuck in the 1970s.

Slept really well. The place was lovely and clean.
