We got in touch five months before our wedding date to reserve the whole villa for two nights, so we could host 25 guests. Communication was never clear, but we agreed to book everything. Less than a month before the wedding, I sent the guest numbers for each room and the check-in dates. They then said they hadn't heard from us and had booked the villa for other people. Completely disrespectful. I don't recommend this place. In Molinella, try Cesare Magli or Palazzo delle biscie instead. Avoid Villa Mazzini and Villa Molinella, they may cancel your booking at the last minute.

Getting to Bologna by train or driving to Ferrara was easy. The room was lovely, and the host was helpful and nice. The building was clean and well maintained. Breakfast was plentiful, though it was all packaged food.

The garden was well kept and the property felt welcoming. The rooms were very clean and comfortable, with roomy bathrooms and showers. Two things let breakfast and reception down: the staff at reception don't speak Italian, and breakfast is all packaged food with jam in jars, with no individual servings.

The beds were comfortable, and everything was very clean. There's gated parking inside, and the living room and kitchen felt genuinely welcoming. The caretaker can also do your laundry for €7.
