We spent our days swimming in the lake, paddle boarding, and taking the ferry to nearby towns. The town itself is small, with bars, restaurants, and a fantastic ice cream shop. Sabrina welcomed us on arrival, showed us around, and explained everything so thoroughly. She even sorted out a parking space, which was great since parking is tricky. We left the car there for the whole week and got around by ferry. Our room was spacious, and the kitchen was fantastic, with lots of breakfast items and room in the fridge for our own food. We had a wonderful stay.

The apartment was large by European standards, with great views and the sound of the water nearby. It stayed quiet at night, even though there’s a bar and restaurant just downstairs. The bar only accepts cash, but the people there are very friendly and were happy to sell us a bottle of wine for the balcony. Check-in was easy, and we loved the place. We’ll come back. A great place to stay on Lake Como.

We came for two nights in October hoping for a quiet, relaxing getaway, and this hotel was just right. The view is incredible, and the photos really don’t capture how nice it is. Everyone was welcoming, friendly, and accommodating. Restaurants are within walking distance, and we could park our rental car in private spaces beside the hotel. The restaurant downstairs was closed for the season, but we had coffee, pastries, and use of a full kitchen. One day we made lunch there and enjoyed it together with that view. I’d definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for somewhere to stay in Como.

We really enjoyed Darsena, our favorite of the six places we stayed in Italy. There may not be much to see or do in Moltrasio, but this b&b suited us perfectly. The balcony sits right over Lake Como, with an amazing view of the lake and mountains. The well-stocked kitchen made it easy to prepare meals and eat outside while taking in the setting. It’s about a 5 minute walk to the ferry station, with access to nearby towns.
