A lovely spot to recover after a tiring hike, or get some food before setting off. The traditional dishes were good, the desserts were lovely, and the view was stunning.

Once you arrive, the rifugio is a special experience: breathtaking views, good rooms and food, and great staff. If you're driving, ask the hotel for clear directions first. The road starts from Andalo, not Molveno. It's a beautiful place high in the mountains.

The restaurant is lovely, the food is great, and lunch with that view is a real treat. There are plenty of walks nearby. The location itself is stunning, though getting there takes a reasonable level of fitness unless you use the cable car and then chair lift from Molveno. We'll definitely be back.

I stopped for lunch and had the beef goulash with mushrooms. It tasted decent, the portion was generous, and the price was reasonable. Most of the staff didn't speak English, but they worked out what I wanted.
