We spent our days either exploring the nearby waterfalls, wetlands, hiking trails and zoo, or simply enjoying the lake. The gated community is quiet, and the house is only a few hundred metres from both the lake and Monasterolo centre. It also made a lovely base: we could sit in the garden with pizza and a bottle of wine. The cooking facilities were great, and the local bakery had food and kitchen basics, so we didn't need to drive to a supermarket. Patricia and Sandie were super helpful. It was one of our most relaxing holidays in a long time. The beds were hard for me, though my wife liked them, so it's hard to please everyone.

Monasterolo was a lovely place to spend time, and I really enjoyed being there. The house is nice and has what you need for a great family holiday. I'd definitely recommend it!

Patricia made us feel very welcome and sorted out any problems quickly. The villa is lovely, the location is great, and the hosts were very helpful.

We had a great few days here as a family of six, with our three dogs along too. There's lots of room in the house, and it has all the comforts we needed. We also spent some relaxing time in the little garden. The lake is very close by. Recommended!
