The food was very good and didn't cost too much. Drinks with dinner cost extra, though, and weren't particularly cheap.

When we visited, Hotel Aurora was changing management and being renovated, so the property looked like a construction site. Still, the new owner's plans seem promising. They have solid experience in the hotel business, and we think Aurora could soon become a local landmark. One to watch!

The ski bus leaves right from the hotel entrance and reaches the main lift in 18 minutes. I found the hotel pleasant and intimate during my ski trip, and the owner is a passionate host. The rooms are small but have everything, and they're cleaned every day. Dinner offered a choice of two dishes from a daily selection of six. Breakfast was a generous buffet with something for everyone. The food was excellent. I highly recommend staying here!

The owners were friendly and helpful, and both cleanliness and service were strong points. The hotel itself feels dated, with a 1990s look. Food was less impressive: breakfast was repetitive and had no vegetables at all. Dinner was okay, with two choices from six courses, but we didn't enjoy it that much. In my view, it doesn't quite live up to Italian cuisine.
