The location is great and the price is very reasonable. Rooms are clean and a good size. Breakfast has a decent range, especially if you like sweet things, though there's something for most people.

A lovely hotel beside a scenic piazza in old Modovi'.

Nothing fancy, but it's cozy and right in the center.

The building dates back to the 14th century, which is a real plus. I found the hotel very comfortable, and breakfast was excellent for a reasonable price. It’s also not far from Piedmont’s best-known ski resorts, and I’d gladly give it full marks based on my stay. The one-star rating reflects specific missing services, not the comfort of the hotel. There’s no parking at the hotel, no refrigerator in the room, and breakfast is the only extra service. The public parking lot is about a hundred meters away. Driving through the historic center can be a bit tricky, too.

The staff were all friendly and happy to help. They even kindly moved breakfast half an hour earlier when I asked. The buffet was included in the price and had plenty of choice, from bread, ham, cheese, and eggs to croissants, cake, tart, and jams. I spent one night in a single room. It was clean and tidy, with towels and a courtesy kit, and I had a spectacular view of the cathedral. If I'm in Mondovì again, I'd definitely stay here. Highly recommended!
