The owners are kind and helpful, and the ground-floor accommodation is very nice. But it has steps everywhere, so it’s definitely unsuitable for anyone with mobility issues. It also gets very hot because ventilation is poor and there’s no air conditioning. The road is narrow and winding. If you’re traveling with two cars, avoid August 4th to 12th, when San Lorenzo’s patron saint’s day can make parking difficult. You can go up and down with one car and pay for parking, currently €10 per day, or leave one car in the garage the owner provides near the station.

The view is breathtaking, with the relaxing feel of the mountains and the sea together in a unique atmosphere. The owners were extremely kind and helpful. I’d love to repeat the experience.
