The owner was kind and helpful, and the house itself is lovely with a nice view.

The setting on the Moneglia hill is charming, but getting there without a car is impossible. The road is private and has several hairpin bends. The house needs a complete overhaul. The exterior and especially the interior weren’t clean, with mold everywhere. The kitchen appliances are too dated, and the linens weren’t very clean either. There’s no air conditioning, just four very old, rusty fans. Wi-Fi doesn’t work in the bedrooms.

It felt like staying at our aunt’s house. The owners were super friendly, approachable, and helpful, and the owner made guests feel at home. She even makes delicious jams! The property is surrounded by nature, so it’s peaceful, with a beautiful view from the room. If you’re staying in Moneglia, I’d say it’s worth spending the night there.

I didn’t have a good experience. The cleanliness wasn’t impeccable, especially the appliances used to prepare breakfast. The beach is 1.8 km away, and the Wi-Fi didn’t work in the bedrooms. Personally, I wouldn’t recommend it.
