The pool area and location were the big pluses. The rooms were okay for a three-star hotel, but I booked a sea view and could barely see anything because palm trees stood right in front. There was a party or something going on in the evening, so it was very loud, and traffic woke me in the morning. The staff felt very cold, and nobody explained where to unload luggage, so I had to drag it from the parking area to the hotel. I don’t understand the good breakfast reviews either: the bread was dry and there wasn’t much fresh food, though the coffee was good. A night here gets very expensive once parking and city tax are added. My three stars are mainly about value for money.

We had the best healthy breakfast of our summer trip around Italy here. The rooms were clean and simple, with all the facilities we needed, and the hotel is perfectly placed right by the beach. I’d definitely recommend it.

Everything felt a bit like stepping back in time, with some dated decor, but it was clean and well looked after. Breakfast was good and the staff friendly. Parking costs 10 euros and is a short walk away, though that was no problem. The hotel is close to the beach and everything else in moneglia.

The hotel’s location is perfect, right across from the beach and restaurants, and only a 5 min walk from the train station. The rooms are just okay for a 3 star, but the rest of the hotel makes up for it.
