B&B L'Ormeggio

A really good place to stay.

The owners were kind and worked around a few things I needed, which I appreciated. I booked the double room for one night, and it was clean, tidy, and a decent size, with both a radiator and air conditioning. The bathroom was spotless and had everything I needed. If I come back to Monfalcone, I’d definitely stay here again.

We had a lovely stay here in early September while walking the Via Flavia as two couples. The owner, Laura, was very helpful, letting us use the refrigerator for food and water for the next day and hanging our things in the garden to dry. Because they had room on the day we arrived, we got one double and two single rooms, each with a private bathroom, though none had a bidet. Breakfast was excellent, with homemade cakes and biscuits. Good value for money.

We found plenty of places to eat and supermarkets near the B&B, useful for picking up supplies for the next stretch of the Via Flavia, where water would not be available. The historic center of Monfalcone is about a kilometer and a half away. We stopped here during our walk and had a great experience: spacious rooms and comfortable amenities, plus an extremely kind and helpful owner. Breakfast was excellent, especially the delicious homemade cakes.
