B&B Fort Apache

We had no trouble with the timing: the dishes came out on time, and the restrooms were decent. The staff were friendly, precise, and punctual. It's a welcoming place for large groups, with a familiar, informal feel and no big pretensions. I tried the fish menu and the appetizers were excellent. The price felt fair for both the quality and the amount of food.

I was a guest at a reception here and came away mostly satisfied, especially with the appetizers and first courses. One thing I'd suggest changing is how the mutton is cooked and served alongside the other meats, since it affected the flavor. I don't like that, and I know not everyone does either.

We come back every year to have lunch with friends, and we always enjoy ourselves. The restaurant has a beautiful view. I don't eat meat, but I've always been offered alternatives. On our last visit they even made two trays of appetizers just for me. That kind of thoughtfulness makes a difference. Congratulations!

The seafood dinner was excellent, and the helpful, friendly staff knew their wine well. The house wine was very good, and I especially liked the Nera Bianco they suggested as a sparkling white. There's an excellent wine selection, and you can ask for tastings. The presentation could be better; the sorbet was standard, with various liqueurs available. I wouldn't bring an already opened bottle of wine to a table serving such a good dinner. The quality for the price makes this place worth recommending. The setting could use some work too, those fans along the path aren't decorative.
