Ivana knows so much about the area's history and was happy to share it. She even offered to drive us to places to visit and restaurants. Breakfast was generous, with local cheeses, jams, and bread. Our large room had a balcony with a wonderful mountain view, and the separate bathroom was spacious and well fitted out. IL Grappolo B&B is within walking distance of the train station, city center, wineries, and several restaurants. It also made a handy base for exploring nearby areas, including Piazzeda up the mountain and even Switzerland. There's plenty of parking on site. It has to be the best B&B in Bianzone!

The winery visit to their "Cascina Cappelle" was a highlight, with a professional welcome and excellent wines. We spent a weekend surrounded by greenery and quiet, a lovely spot to unwind for a few days. Amalia, who owns the B&B, shared stories that showed how much she loves this beautiful area, and made the stay feel steeped in its traditions and history.

The staff were extremely kind, and the bed was super comfortable. The room itself was large, but the furnishings were really dated. There was a shower in the room near the closet, while the bathroom was elsewhere, up some stairs. The fabrics smelled musty, and the bath linens were all different. Breakfast was plentiful, with packaged items as well as freshly prepared milk and coffee. The outside of the building didn't look quite like the photos.

We came for a weekend and found it peaceful, away from the city's bustle, a good place to relax. The welcome was excellent, and the place was spacious, clean, and helpful. The family winery tour was excellent too, with detailed explanations of the history of Sacro Monte and their vineyards. The wines were excellent. Mario and Gina.
