I was traveling solo and felt safe in the single bed. The location was great, and the owners are wonderful people who do everything they can to make sure you're comfortable. I'd stay here again.

The dinners were the real highlight of our half-board stay. There was a huge salad buffet that you could refill as often as you wanted, followed by a different appetizer, first course, main, and dessert each day. The breakfast spread had plenty of sweet and savory choices, and they'd make eggs and bacon right away if you asked. Let the staff know about dietary needs or preferences and they'll do their best to accommodate. One small thing to know: they serve wine bottles that have already been opened in the kitchen, which may not suit everyone. The staff were friendly and helpful. Some of the waitstaff weren't fluent in English, but they could still communicate and assist us when needed. The rooms are spacious, cozy, comfortable, and kept warm, a nice place to unwind after skiing. The hotel looks a bit old-fashioned at first, but it's perfectly fine. It's worth considering if you're visiting Kronplatz and 3 Zinnen.

The host was great, and the stay was lovely all around. Lake Braies is super close, and both supper and breakfast were superb. Couldn't have asked for more.

The quiet setting and incredible view are a big reason I'd choose this inn over the places in town. It's only two bus stops from Monguelfo station, and one short stop farther than the town hotels. There was basically no traffic, and the view made that little extra distance absolutely worthwhile. This small, cozy inn is run by a wonderful, friendly family. Alex, his wife, and the kids, especially little Andy, are honest, hardworking, and kind. Our room was spacious, very clean, well kept, and had an amazing view along with all the luxuries of a starred hotel. The food was good too. Breakfast and dinner cost €8 to €15. The menu is the chef's choice, but it was well worth the money, with generous servings of homegrown and local farm produce. It's one of the most charming and comfortable places I've stayed, and I'd highly recommend it if you want to get away from busy city life for a few days. The tiny price tag is 100% worth it.
