Villa La Torre in Pietra

The garden, pool, and breakfast made this beautiful B&B feel like a real find. Giuseppe was a wonderful host, and even drove us to Desenzano, which we really appreciated. Such a pleasure to stay here.

We came for a quiet break and found the setting ideal: restaurants and bars are only a few minutes away on foot, though it’s not a place for partying. Our room was at the top, entirely to ourselves, with a fantastic view. It was beautifully furnished, spotless, and clearly high quality. The house and large garden were neat and clean, and there’s a pool, though you can’t use it at night. The owner was lovely and always available when we needed help. He even gave me a bottle of Prosecco for my birthday. We had a place for the car in the courtyard, and motorcyclists are welcome too. We stayed three nights, would happily recommend it, and will probably return.

We booked this place spontaneously for Easter because the pictures looked so good that we wondered if they’d been digitally edited. They hadn’t, and the property really did look just like the photos. The owner was very friendly, and we’d gladly come back. It’s a little far from the lake, but the five stars are well deserved.

A lovely place to stay for a holiday, though breakfast is no longer offered.
