Al Chiasso 12 (Adults Only)

We had a magical week in Monopoli, our first time in Italy, and loved staying in this lovely flat. It’s right in the old city, with bars, restaurants, and cafés close by, and the beach is a five-minute walk away. The street is quiet, which was priceless, and the indoor jacuzzi was perfect for cooling off after walking in the warm sun. Everything was within walking distance. Eugenio and Marcella were wonderful hosts, always there with advice and help. It was a pleasure renting your flat, thanks so much again. Don’t hesitate, it’s the best place for a couple.

We were very happy with our stay. The rooms are small, but comfortable, and I liked how thoughtfully and neatly everything was laid out. The stone-carved hot tub is a lovely touch and makes it easy to relax. It was impeccably clean, too. The hosts were friendly and helpful, and I’d recommend the experience to anyone. The place is in Monopoli’s historic center, so nearby restaurants are easy to reach.

Marcella and Eugenio were kind and helpful from the very beginning. Before we even got to Monopoli, they sent us information about local events and nearby meat and fish restaurants and pizzerias. They also let us check in at 1:30 PM instead of 3:00 PM. The property was easy to reach, and even in the restricted traffic zone we found nearby parking on the white lines. It’s just steps from the sea and the main square. Marcella showed us around and explained the tub and air conditioning. The place was exceptionally clean and tidy, with modern furnishings that fit the nautical theme. There was a kettle, a coffee machine with pods, an induction stove and cookware, plus a bottle of wine, traditional taralli, muffins, and breakfast biscuits. The hot tub is very large and comfortable, though I’d add headrests. The mezzanine sleeping area above the kitchen had an extremely comfortable bed with clean, fragrant sheets. Towels and a hairdryer were provided, though we forgot our slippers. We’ll definitely come back. Thank you ☺️ Serena and Antonio from Matera.
