The staff were friendly, and the rooms looked lovely and clean. But there was a lot of noise, and I wouldn’t have been able to sleep without earplugs.

We had a comfortable bed and a spacious, very clean room with air conditioning. The shutters were remote controlled, which made it easy to darken the room for sleep. I did miss having a fridge to keep drinks cold. Breakfast was a pleasant basic continental spread. Getting there was frustrating. It felt far from both the center and the train station, and the walk took us around 20-30 minutes. GPS led us to the wrong place, then we spent at least 15 minutes looking for the entrance. The sign shown in the photo is blue with grey lettering, but now it’s grey on grey and hard to spot. When we messaged because we couldn’t find the hotel, the staff weren’t much help, and at times they seemed annoyed.
