We came back here gladly to unwind after sightseeing and have a swim. It’s a calm, green, welcoming place where it’s easy to feel comfortable, and a great base for seeing Puglia. The owner is there in person with useful advice and help if anything comes up. There’s convenient parking on site too. It was better than we expected.

We stayed a week at Francesco’s place and were very comfortable. The rooms are clean and have a charming feel, and the location is quiet but still central. There’s everything you need to make breakfast or a light meal. Francesco lives next door and is happy to help if you need anything else. We’d love to return.

Francesco made our holiday easy with all the information we needed, and he added something different to breakfast each day with a range of quality foods. He also let us enjoy the lovely, delicious produce from his orchard. He was kind to our small dog too, who was welcome as long as he behaved. Villa Formica B&B is a few kilometers from Monopoli, tucked among country villas in a quiet, nature-filled setting. The property is simple but well cared for and genuinely pleasant, especially for a relaxing time by the pool. Francesco is a delightful host who’s always available. I wholeheartedly recommend it.
