Corte Sant'Angelo

Francesco stayed in touch while we were traveling to Monopoli and made sure we knew where to go. The apartment itself was beautiful, very clean, and had a super comfortable bed. We liked having the little kitchenette so we could buy local produce and cook. Breakfast at a nearby bar was delicious. Don't miss the Nutella doughnut, it was out of this world!

Our apartment, Aphrodite, had a particularly impressive bedroom ceiling and everything we needed. It was lovely and so quiet, even though it's on a main tourist route. The harbour is only a five-minute walk away. Francesco sent helpful check-in messages beforehand. We left the car in a free lot on Via Nazario Sauro, about 10 minutes away, and there were plenty of spaces.

The bar right across from the entrance was really cool, and the rooms themselves are beautiful and centrally located. But the customer service was very poor. We arrived at 6pm with our three-month-old baby. I'd told the hotel in advance and specifically asked whether the heating worked, yet the room was at 15 degrees. Twelve hours later it had only reached 17. They brought us a heater on the second day, after we'd already spent a very cold night. Breakfast was just coffee, a croissant and juice, which I wouldn't call breakfast.

It's right in the center of Monopoli, and everything was extremely well kept. The host was very polite, the room was extra clean, and the sofa had already been opened up as a bed for our kids. It was all extremely perfect. A bit expensive, but worth the money.
