This attic apartment on the sixth floor is a delight to live in. It has heating and air conditioning, 110% energy efficiency upgrades, and Wi-Fi up to 790 Mbps. There's also a parking space with automated access. The sea and historic center are just a short walk away. Hospitality was exceptional, with a warm welcome, and the host was friendly and available at all times.

We spent two nights in the apartment, which has all the comforts and a lovely sea-view terrace. It's about 10 minutes from the city center. Monopoli also makes it easy to get to various places, including Alberobello, Ostuni, Locorotondo and Polignano.

The attic house was very clean and welcoming, with its own parking space. It's only a few meters from the sea and historic center, and makes a good base for exploring the wider area and nearby towns. The owner was attentive and very helpful.

After two days I left, even though I'd paid €830 for a week. I lost money, vacation time and travel expenses, and came away with an experience I'd rather forget. The house was a tiny, dreadful hole, and there was no truth to the description of the house, the sea or the supposedly available beaches. When booking, I specifically asked how far the sea was and was reassured that the apartment had a sea view. It didn't, and getting to the sea meant a long walk, so we had to take the car. The sea was dirty and impassable, not suitable for families with children. My daughter nearly drowned. Be careful.
