We spent four peaceful days here and really felt at home. The owner was warm and friendly from our first phone call, and she spoiled us during the stay. The house opens onto a lovely private garden set up for relaxing, with plenty of private parking. Our superior room was spacious and beautiful, and above all extremely clean. It had a hairdryer, air conditioning, a mini-fridge, and an espresso machine. Breakfast had a good selection, and the linens and towels were changed so often that we felt it was more than needed. Follow the owner's directions: she can send the location, since the house is on a slip road off the main road, one minute from the Lamalunga exit. It's a handy base for Alberobello, Locorotondo, Monopoli, Ostuni, and other nearby towns. The highway noise didn't bother us once the windows were closed. Thanks for everything, Simona and Manuel.

The price felt outrageous for the location and service. The map location didn't match where the property actually is, right beside a busy highway. Traffic could be heard constantly because the windows aren't soundproof. Breakfast was included, but all we found was a few cheap packaged snacks and a coffee pod. The en-suite bathroom had no bidet, and although the shower was large, its curtain made it easy for water to get onto the floor.

The room was roomy and comfortable, and the garden is a lovely place to unwind. The whole property is pleasant and well cared for, with lots of free parking on site. In the hottest months, though, air conditioning would have made the room easier to cool.

Breakfast was just prepackaged food. It's a shame, because the place is clean and well looked after. But being right beside the highway meant speeding cars kept me awake all night. I barely slept.
