We travel all over Italy, and this was our favorite place to stay. The bed and pillows were so comfortable, and the apartment was spotless with everything we needed and more. It’s by the old town, with plenty of restaurants and shops, and we always found parking. After our long drive, Stefano had focaccia and wine waiting for us. He also gave us lots of tips about where to go and what to do. His shop next door had a really nice leather jacket at a bargain price, too. We only wish we’d stayed longer. Next time for sure. Book it, you’ll love staying here.

Stephano and his family were genuinely kind and helpful hosts. They even went out to get us food when we arrived late and hungry. The apartment was very clean and had all the amenities we needed, and it’s close to the train station. We were also able to arrange tours and transfers with Stephano. I’d absolutely stay here again if visiting Puglia.

We came back to Monopoli in 2023 after first visiting in 2017, even though we don’t usually return to the same place. The reason was the wonderful hosts at Domus Apuliae. When our flight arrived in the morning, they had croissants and coffee ready for breakfast. On our first trip, the apartment’s decor and cleanliness were impeccable, and the three brothers, Stefano, Tomaso, and Franco, were wonderful. They often went beyond what you’d expect from hosts: they drove us to Bari airport, took us to see places like Matera, Alberobello, and Polignano, and recommended private beaches and restaurants, even calling to book for us. Highly recommended!
