Breakfast comes with a voucher for a nearby bar, but it’s just coffee and a croissant. We were fine with that given the quality of the room, which also had free water and sodas, though it’s worth knowing if you expect a more traditional B&B breakfast. We picked up extra food at the supermarket nearby and ate it on our terrace. At checkout, the owners gave us a packet of orecchiette, a lovely touch and a perfect end to a very nice stay. The Golden Suites 50 B&B is in a recently built small apartment building just outside Monopoli’s center. It can look far away on Google Maps, but everything is actually walkable. Free parking is a big plus. Since the owners don’t live in the building, you need to tell them your arrival time in advance. They were very friendly and arrived right on time to hand over the keys and show us the room. We were pleasantly surprised by the room, bathroom, and terrace. The design was tasteful and could easily compete with a high-end hotel chain.

The room looks nice, but it’s poorly equipped. The room and terrace are on a very busy road, and there was a lot of noise at night, possibly from the air conditioning. The breakfast is very small, and the place serving it is far away.

The room was spacious, clean, and practical, and there was someone available if we had questions. It’s ideally placed for sightseeing, and breakfast, though a ten-minute walk away, was excellent. The only small downsides were finding street parking and the distance to breakfast. I’d recommend it.

We were sorry to leave and would have happily stayed longer. The place felt intimate and special to us, with a modern, charming style. Anna kept up impeccable daily cleaning and was always attentive to our requests. It’s just a short walk from the center of Monopoli and from the beach and coves. Another useful detail is that the room is outside the restricted traffic zone, so renting a car for a Monopoli stay is easy, and you can park right below the house number. Thank you! :)

There’s parking, too. I stayed last night and had a great time. The young woman was kind and very helpful, and the modern room was fully equipped and spotlessly clean. Everything was perfect, and I highly recommend it 🥰
