I Trulli Di Nonno Giovanni

We came for one night, August 2-3, 2025, because staying in a trullo had been a dream of ours. Anna welcomed us simply and kindly, then showed us inside. The trullo was carefully maintained and had good air conditioning. It's about 6 km from Alberobello and 25 km from Polignano a Mare. Outside, there's parking and a large garden with a well-equipped gazebo, all beautifully lit in the evening. Anna was professional, warm, and down to earth. We'll definitely return.

Anna welcomed us so warmly, and she and her father Francesco made us feel like part of the family. We spent three special days at Trulli di Nonno Giovanni, and even chose to have dinner there twice because we loved the place so much. It's a fairytale setting, and a holiday we'll always remember. The property is surrounded by greenery, with a huge park, patio, hammocks, flowers, fruit trees, and olive trees. It's a short walk from Alberobello and well placed for visiting Ostuni, Polignano a Mare, the Castellana Caves, Fasano, Locorotondo, and other interesting places. Private parking on the estate is just 4-5 meters from the entrance. Three of us stayed in the Ciliegio trullo, a four-room unit connected like an apartment. We also saw Castagno, a smaller trullo for two, just as beautiful, well kept, and romantic. Every detail was considered, and everything was provided, including a generous welcome basket and what we needed for breakfast. It was spotless and cared for without losing the original character of the trulli. I've wanted to visit Puglia and stay in a trullo for a long time, and this made that wish come true in the best way.

The garden was lovely, and there was plenty of fresh air. The trullo was beautiful and so comfortable, with cleanliness that was almost obsessive. Anna and her husband were wonderful people, incredibly kind and hospitable, and made us feel at home. Anna also put together a superb breakfast, better than what you'd find in many hotels. We stayed on a Saturday with my wife, and I hope we can come back soon. Some places really do deserve more stars.

Anna welcomed us when we arrived and was so friendly. We had a fantastic stay in this trullo, and Nonno Giovanni's trulli are just right if you're after some peace and quiet.
