The host was lovely, flexible, and very helpful. The apartment is in Monopoli's historic district, down a small, charming lane, and the location made it okay value. But it's an older place, quite dark and small, with a narrow flight of stairs to reach it. The bed is a small double, quite firm, and the pillows weren't comfortable. The bathroom and shower box are tiny too. Probably best for a budget traveller who won't spend much time inside. The photos make the apartment look nicer than it is.
