The junior suite worked perfectly for us and our toddler, especially with its handy kitchen and dining space for meals. Masseria Lacatena is a peaceful, family-friendly spot with beautiful grounds. We enjoyed relaxing by the pool and using it as a base to explore the nearby towns. Everyone was welcoming, including the sweet dog Nelson and the cats. The playground and garden were a lovely bonus, and guests can pick fresh produce there. We’d come back in a heartbeat.

We had a wonderful stay and would happily come back. The suite and the garden and pool area were spotless, with impressive attention to detail and quality. Our hosts were lovely and made sure we had what we needed. There’s a small local grocery shop and cafe five minutes away on foot, and dinner restaurants are five minutes by car. Most evenings, though, we preferred eating on our private terrace.

We had such a relaxing stay at Masseria Lacatena with our two young children. The grounds are beautiful, and the pool was great. It’s also a perfect base for visiting Monopoli and Ostuni. We’d definitely recommend it.

Everything was amazing, from the staff and service to the beautiful setting. To me, it’s the nicest “masseria “you can find in Monopoli. Thank you, Lacatena Family ❤️❤️🙏🙏

There’s also a trullo, but it was occupied while we were there. Our apartment had a kitchen and outdoor patio, and was spacious, spotless, and tastefully done in a typical Apulian style. It’s near Monopoli, with a large pool set among the greenery. Very quiet, and well suited to couples or families.
